Vacancy Summary

Our Client is seeking an Analyst to strengthen their team at Consultant level and are seeking Consultants operating primarily within Defence and the Defence industry sectors.

Excellent package including attractive bonus scheme, car allowance, pension, health plan, and equity in
Hertfordshire based with travel and working on client sites as required.

Your role will involve:
Developing software for wireless communications equipment
Working within a team on full lifecycle development from requirements analysis through to test and trials support
As required, working closely with clients to provide support and technical consultancy
Providing support for sales activities, including client meetings and contribution to written proposals.

Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline (e.g. engineering, physics or computing) you will be self motivated and target driven, with high productivity & a can-do approach.
You will also have strong technical competence in developing software for high-performance embedded systems, C/ C++ is also essential
You must also have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Furthermore, technical insight is also essential - having the ability to quickly gain an understanding of the system context.

Additionally, the following skills would be valuable:
Experience of software development for defence equipment;
Familiarity with commercial wireless communication standards;
Professional approach to developing high quality software;
attention to detail;
Familiarity with UML2.
